Sending a photo from mobile phone to email.

Hey all,
i was just wondering if any1 has any info or idea how to send digital pics taken on a phone,to email...so i can post them up on the forums.
I have got the nokia 6230,and have no idea how to send the pics, and i dont have a data cable yet.

what company simcard have u got?

call up ur service provider to activate MMS and send it through MMS to ur email

or send it to me, ill PM u my number, and ill upload it using my data cable :D

activation doesnt cost anything... but not sure about wat telstra charges on MMS

OK, i just rang telstra and activated MMS, and sent a pic of my car to my email, but the pic came out small,
i tried making the pic bigger,but it came out blurry,
any1 got any ideas ?

The camera phone pictures are only very small ie. The Sony Ericsson T610 has picture sizes of 288x352 or 120x160 pixels

just upload it to your hardrive and post it from there
(i assume your phone came with transfering software?)

the 6230 will probably only have a top resolution of 640x480 which isnt too bad for general stuff but it will get very blurry very quickly!

Camera phones are starting to come out with 1 mega-pixel camera's now with good quality too, I plan on getting one when I can afford one
