now that prodrive have taken over tickford i reakon it would be great if they used the technology from the subura WRC and stuck it in a XR. A seqeuntial gearboc would be awesome. Obviously it would need to be developed, and it would cost a bit. but who cares it whould be cool. What other developments do you think tickford could use from the prodrive merger anyway?
The gearbox would be just the start.......exhausts, turbos, superchargers, suspensions, intercoolers.....need I go on? But it certainly is exciting times at FoMoCo (well, Tickford to be more precise!)

Hmmm....I doubt that either would give up their name seeing as each is a strong brand in each regards. Maybe they'll just operate as two different brand names and when do have to work together...maybe Tickford/Prodrive? Again, I don't see how either will (or should for that matter) give up either brand name.

The Tickford name will remain as it is a well established brand in Aus. Also, if i'm not mistaken, Ford Australia own half of Tickford in Australia, so its not entirely a Prodrive outfit.
