Serious Karting

It's not a turbo or V8, but it makes more noise and has some serious horsepower potential.....

I think he already has. Read some of the rest of his pages. Even fiddling about with ramjets too.

Me thinks that man is crazy

Come on, give this guy some credit. Whoever has a good read of the site will discover that this guy knows in great detail what he is talking about. He has built a gas turbine from a small turbocharger, various shapes and forms of pulse jets and other bits and pieces. Somehow I think he is intelligent enough to keep his chances of getting injured or killed to a minimum.

Normality is the most common form of insanity

Well he hasn't exactly got a seat or seat belt on that thing, nor much other protection. Im a part time firefighter, and I gotta tell you that his little LPG setup is just a little alarming to say the least!!!! I wouldn't want to be near where this guy lives!

memorable quotes include:

"As I mentioned -- the kart doesn't even have a seat yet so I clamped a piece of wood onto two cross-members to stop my backside from scraping along the cement."

"This board was also a handly place to lash the 20lb propane tank which provides the fuel for this jet"

"The fuel lines were zip-tied to the frame ... Very crude and only somewhat effective as it takes about two full turns to cut off the gas supply "

"Since I don't have any brakes yet,"
