This is the closest dealer to work, and is the easiest way to get it looked at (still needs the recall done among others) rather than dropping it off at Rex Gorells and trying to get to work from there...

Is there a 'team' there that looks after the XRs/FPVs? How are they with mods, etc? Good/bad experiences?

OK, this is irrelevant to this post. But my prinicipal was talking about 'quality' in Industry & Enterprise class, and he's like "I'm a Holden man through and through (im like pffftttttt) but once i decided i'd bring my car (VS commo) to Ford to get it serviced, and since then he's taken it to Ford everytime. He rekons the service is so much better then Holden and they rang a few days later to make sure everything was alright, im like YEH FORD RULES. lol ....

Yeah i've had questionable experiences from Strapp Kew. Though at least it looks like my car might make it frm 30,000 km service to 45,000 service without having to return to a dealership for an interim measure (first time in a ford for some 3 years).

I'll be trying to get to Strapp Ford Doncaster next time.

45,000km service coming up - and i'll be asking for a sizable list of fixes:
* Gearbox (3rd time)
* Steering click (5th time)
* Brake Shudder (2nd time, and has the applied "Fix")
* etc...

I fully concur with Russ and John,have been taking my GT to Strapp Ford in Burwood,excellent service there especially when Jarret was there.
