seriously, what's the deal with wheels and holden?!

let me show you something and you tell me if you notice a patern. this a list of car featured on Wheels front covers in the recent months:

August:
HSV Senator 300kw, Audi RS4, EVO IV, M3

September:
Holden Commodore SS, Falcon XR8

October:
Holden Commodore SS, Alfa 147

November:
Holden Monaro and a tiny pic of TS50

December:
HSV Coupe

Wheels yearbook:
HSV Maloo HRT

uhm, do you notice a pattern here? i sure as hell do! although they've praised Ford in a few articles in the last 3-4 months, i don't think i'll be buying every issue of wheels anymore. unless it has something that is of interest to me, they can forget about it. no one can tell me they are not biased, and the only reason they praise ford now is because IT'S SO BLOODY OBVIOUS that ford is BETTER!

Covers sell magazines. There are more Holden lovers out there than Ford lovers. Sad & sorry but honest fact of life.

if any mag features ONE car manufacturer on its covers (even if it was Ford) for 5 straight months, that can only mean one thing: BIASED!

there have been some great cars from Ford in the last few months! Motor featured the TS50 on the cover of the December issue, after having featured the monaro the month before! that's variety, and being fair.

wheels has become such a pile of shit...

Why? They want to sell the maximum amount of copies so the pitch to the maximum audience. They've had great articles from a lot of different brands in the last few issues. Why does the cover make them biased?

I couldn't give a toss what they put on the cover really. I read all the articles even those about the Holdens. I'm gonna let you guys and gals in on a little secret. My father used to work at GMH years ago. Thought they were the ants pants. Never bought one as I didn't like the Commodore..

Always wanted a HQ Monaro 308. In '95 I bought my first Falcon and I've never looked back!! Love those Fords.....
