Final approval for the radar CC systems have been granted by the Australian Communications Authority.
How do they work?
Does it require all cars to be fitted to be effective?
I am prepared to bet that someone manages to crash one. For example, how do they stop the laws of physics operating if you enter a bend way too fast (assuming it lets you do that)?
I think Lowndesy should tell AVESCO to make this mandatory on all V8 supercars, then he may have some chance of getting past the first lap without getting punted off.

Thats pretty interesting.I wonder how it will stack up in real world road driving and all the variables that comes with it. I mean you don't want the thing braking all the time esp in Laminges case.:s5
so you're flying along, and ther light goes amber, you speed up to tailgate the guy in front of you, but MR RADAR THINGY won't let you get too close to the car in front, so it chucks the anchors out in the middle of the intersection???
s--t, i must be a really bad driver.

Yes that is exactly how it works as it doesn't know the guy you are trying to Tailgate through the intersection isn't going to stand on the brakes himself to avoid going through that amber light.
