I currently own a Vl Commodore and wanting to get another car. A telstar turbo has caught my eye and was wondering if anyone knows if they are worth buying. The one i'm looking at is black and done 212,000kms and the asking price is $5,500. I've added a picture of one, it's not the car but apart from the colour it's pretty much the same...

They're good cars as far as I know but I'm not sure about the number of k's though.

Totally agree with the others. The amount of K's is a concern. If porroof of rebuild is provided maybe, look for oil leaks and smoke from the exhaust, worn rings are expensive to fix.

telstas are pretty good cars. like others have said the turbo may be a little tired after all those Ks. but depends if older people owned it or younger ones i guess. maybe grandma liked to get to the supermarket quick?
