I would be contacting them and getting it sorted out straight away. Regardless of what the web site says if you owe them money they have a right to it. Last thing you want is for them to come after you for not paying and then have to catch up payments or lose your car and credit rating.
For the last week my fordcredit site has told me i owe $0 on my car even though the scheduled contract end date isnt until 2007.
Should i dontinue to pay it each fortnight or jsut go on what the website says and forget about paying the car off, and go trade on a nre XR8 ?
Doesn't yours automatically get deducted? When I paid out my Ford Credit debts (2 of them) they sent me a letter in the mail suggesting so. If their website says $0, then I wouldn't be jumping for joy. (I'm sure there's a clause that says that the website may not be accurate)
Nah mine doesnt automatically come out, didnt set it up like that as i was changing banks at the time so didnt think it was a good idea
Yeah i figured there would have to be a clause about the website not being accurate somewhere, but i figure that it comes from a database of theirs somewhere
Oh well will have to give them a call next week and sort it out.
If you know that you owe money then keep paying it. Certainly not worth stuffing up your credit rating just to see what happens.
Would be cool if they confirmed you owed $0.. computer glitches do happen, rarely in our favour though.
