Should the xr6 have had a better body kit

Just wondering if you think the body kit on the xr6 is a bit tame

hmmmmmmm, a little, but then i think that they couldn't make it all out there because the GT's will be all out there. So in a sense no, but yeah, if ya get me. Maybe bigger wheels would help.

I've got nothing against the kit personally, though any person modifying the car would probably start with the wheels anyway.

The original XR6 had no body kit at all - just a tiny front and rear spoiler. That isn't what I call tame, it's just part of its 'sleeper' image. I wouldn't complain if the new XR6 was just the same as this.

I put this thread up because I have heard others mention it. Personally I think it is ok. It leaves a bit there for the xr8 & GT

But the Xr8 has the same body kit except for the 'power bulge'. I think they all look great, and I can;t wait to see the FPV range.

I think it looks tasteful .. I hate it when a bodykit takes over the styling..you look at the kit rather than the car then

Looks a million bucks to me.. XR8 & GT look better. A progressive agressive styling philosophy if you like..

Just take a look at the VX S & SS series which I believe Ford have tried to emulate.

Both cars have similar body kits, both of which look fantastic, but the SS has enough differentiation to give it a slight edge. Bigger wheels, fog lamps, dark headlight inserts and a bigger rear wing.

Personally, I think the BA body kit looks great but if I were to change something, I'd give the XR8 a bigger rear wing again just to differentiate it a little bit more from the rear.
