Just thought I'd make a contribution to the 'how to make yourself feel like an idiot' section:
I was driving home from a friends place the other night and (leaving out the critical piece of info that would give the game away, in hindsight) I noticed that a weird symbol had appeared on the LCD (from memory, to the left of the Odometer).
Panicking, I thought the bloody engine was going to blow up or something. Checked all gauges etc, all looked okay. No really weird sounds etc. So, continuing to drive really conservatively, I got home and took the owners manual out to check out the symbol.
First one to guess what it was gets a virtual choccy frog :s6:

My guess would be the low washer bottle fluid warning symbol.
When I first ever saw mine come on I thought "Ahhh!!!!" I've lost lost all my radiator coolant ..... temp gauge looked OK ..... so I popped the bonnet to check for split hoses that would cause me to loose all the radiator water .... everything was normal?
When I had a closer look at the symbol I realised that it wasn't the "low radiator warning" ............ but just the "low washer bottle" warning.
I felt a bit silly ......... but relieved :s4 :s4 :s4

silly things that give you a fright? the things that creep up in the corner of my eye, and disappear when i look in that direction. the feeling of knowing there's someone standing behind you but in fact there's no one there... or is there? things that appear to be moving, while they SHOULD NOT move! hehe
sorry... my mind's a funny place.
