Is Singapore Ford-less?

I didn't see a single Ford during the Airport -> Hotel, and didn't see a one this morning either going to the office.

If you see any, most likely be in "VAN" form...
They like their Jap cars

This is my 3rd/4th (hazy memory) trip, and I don't recal seeing any of previous trips either!

There is no www.ford.com.sg, but according to http://www.fordworldwide.com/wdmo/country.html?cty=SGP you can buy a Mondeo, Focus and Laser as well as the Escape, the Transit van and a Thai-made 'Ranger' which looks like a Courier ute.

Venom XR,

I bet they all drive these 7 seater van wagon things like the Isuzu Panther.

... and GM in the guise of Opel have a reasonab;e market share there - you even see the odd Opel Senator (Commodores parent) around.

Yes, cars are very pricey. Very few old cars, as you are taxed a fortune for cars over 10 years of age.

How's this for a bite in the arse? You could buy a $1million SG home/unit, and you never really own it. All you are buying is a 99 year lease.

I was thinking the same thing Venom lol.

When I went to Singapore a couple of years ago, I saw a lot of taxis with funny hub caps...but no Fords?

I am sure there is a Ford site for Singapore.

I just came back from a trip to Singapore and spotted a few Focus's and Mondeo's there. I hardly saw any Subaru's. An average car is worth around $100,000 to $150,000 .
