Dont you just hate the old material and glue used to stick up the ceiling material in your car, it starts to sag and fall like innappropriate comment removed :). Well I decided it was time to replace it cause I was sick of it sagging on my head.

Went down to Lincraft and bought some black fake leather,
Took the whole ceiling mould out, pulled off old material.
Used wood glue and applied it with a large paint brush.
Smoothed out the fake leather onto the mould and trim aound it.
Then need got a large plastic sheet and lay it out over the top of the mould and fill it with water and leave it over night (The mould is basically a concave allowing it to keep the water in), the weight of the the water holds down the leather while it drys and moulds it into the exact shape as the ceiling mould.

Then just re-fit it back into the car, and there you have it plastic sergery on the old lady.

That's an original way of going about it - look forward to pics when you can.

I ended up sourcing a good lining from a forum member. I can't say it was fun to install, but well worth it in the end. I also chucked some sound deadening in the roof while I was there.

i had the same problem with my old EA, i just put pins in to hold it up :)
