A question for those inclined Lads and Lasses,

At some stage this year (or next) I would like to jump out of a perfectly serviceable aeroplane.

Has anyone on the forums in NSW done a jump and if so where it was done, which company it was done with and how much.

As for places, I think there's one on the south-west outskirts of Sydney, out past Campbelltown. I remember seeing signs for it when I drove down to Wakefield and Melbourne.

There are plenty near my house in Victoria if you want a casual drive. They also win heaps of world wide competitions so they must be good. I watched my Girlfriend jump out around 2 weeks ago. Very quick experience. She was a little white when she got to the ground but lol. The video footage of the jump was great and it looks like fun but still im hard to convince.

I did mine a loooong tim ago, back in '96. Ours was actually organised through the RAAF Blue Eagles and a few mates rates went down.

We jumped at Elderslie up the other side of Newcastle, they were fabulous. Obviously in Sydney there is the blokes out at Picton ( i think ), but we never jumped there.

It's well worth the trip to Elderslie as they were the best bunch of blokes with no arrogance toward the newbies and a great culture.. plus you can't beat the view of the Hunter at 14,000 ft...

It's just a shame that the Greased Anvil can fly no more...
