How in the world did that snake get under there with the hood closed? I realize it can crawl up from underneath, but don't see how it could maneuver. I bet this was staged.

I've owned some pretty big snakes, you'd be amazed at how small an area a 16 foot snake can hide in.

The snake was a ball python, they only get to about 4 ft, I can deal with it.
The Spider easily squished with the foot, no problem.
A 16 ft alligator or a full grown 700 lb tiger looks at you and sez LUNCH!
