Have we beat Holden yet? When do we find out how many BA's they have sold???

Hahaaha.

Well judging by the dealerhip I walked into today, I would say we have sold about 2, but the salesman said he had a 2 page list of pre-sold BA's on back order. So its all good.

He told me not to expect any Turbo's to be available till about February so initial sales have been very good!

GP as stated publically that Ford have already sold all BA production made up until December......

Well at work the showroom was full of poeple. I asked one of the sakleman and he still wasnt giving out BA broschures. Got the Ute broschure but thery still had AU broschures. Guess they wanna flog off the last few AU's left. It'll be touhg becasue so many poeple were looking at the BA's and so many sad looking AU's were parked outside, looking to be traded in would be my bet.

I spoke to the guy who sold me my XR and he said they have ordered 20 xr6's. They are the biggest sellers of XR's in Qld. He is expecting the turbo's to arrive in 3 weeks and has written me into his diary for a test drive when they arrive. I can't wait.

I read in a geelong newspaper while there for the raid that the first 3 months of production had been pre-sold :s5

presold to the dealers, not the general public. but i'm sure they'll go quick. not liking what i hear about the waiting list for the XR6T tho and holden seems to be getting a jump since the XR8 ain't coming til jan/feb next year

Yes well it wouldnt supprise me. Im not sure how much has been pre-sold but our car park is full of them at the moment. Hertz has purschased something like 10-15 XT's and Futuras which are all due for delivery on the 1st and 2nd.

Grawill ford claimed to have allready sold 18 when I rocked up about 1pm. 1 turbo, 1 fairmont ghia and the rest were xt's. salesman was a prick though .
