Just went for a spin in the new guy at works WRX. Holy crap !!!!! This thing just straight out pulls !! Its far from standard but jeez........ Strong all the way threw the gears.. And handling.. Holy crap its like a bloody go-cart !!!
I can understand the hype these things get now. Amazing car !! If my blood wasn't flowing with blue logo I'd consider one of these things for sure.
I drove the model with the bug eyes (previous one) and i was disappointed, although it was quick, it wasnt as fast i thought (for over-taking) and over-estimated its performance, it was sluggish at low rpm, and I found AWD isnt always a good thing, especially on U-turns, where rwd is better in my oppinion, plus i think i nearly burnt out the clutch on those take-offs.
Another scalp for (mygt) keep em coming
Cheers John

You cant dismiss them out of sight though they have a cult following that some aussie manufacturers would die for!
Yes some halfwitts drive em but my mate has one and they are a great toy. I would have one but only if i could have two cars. I am too blue blooded to give up the bleu oval.
mmmmm my kingdom for a BA XR8 (sedan) and a modded 2000 WRX wagon.
