Right now at my place it is absolutely p!ssing down. So much so that if it doesn't stop soon I might have to sand bag the front door.

The only funny bit was seeing a drenched cat yelling at the door wanting to come in.

Good thing I didnt wash the car with a hose!

Certainly is,

All weather car, fair weather driver!

I just hope the Missus is ok because she is out in the Laser. It has Goodyear Eagles that came with the car when we bought it new last year.

They are fantastic in the dry but I'm not a fan of them in the wet. I want to put either the Kumho 712s thats on the Falcon or Hankook 104s on it when they are due for replacement.

I think you are right about the jinx. I could wash the car in the middle of a drought and it will pour down the next day.

Heh, we had practise for our march out parade (Army basic training stuff) wednesday and thursday morning, god we got drenched! Most rain I've seen in a long time.

Lucky though, the sun decided to come out for the day.

One of the funniest things I've ever seen was on parade when I was at Nirimba, It absolutely poured down.

An old Navy trick to whiten our caps was to use scuff stuff for white sandshoes.

Here we were all at attention in our dark blue winter uniforms and the guy in front had white sand shoe cleaner dripping from his cap and all down his uniform.

What a mess!
