normally i dont get worked up over these kinda things, but i hate tarrintino, kill bill was the worst movie ever, i think only asian ppl should be the only ones to make asian movies, its just that they do em better.
I saw Hero on DVD last year - it's been out in Asia for a while. Definitely not a Tarantino production. If you liked Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hero should appeal to you

thats what i first though, but when i saw it again, it goes 'quinten tarrantino presents' cos apparently he saw it liked it so much he wanted to bring it to a western audience or something
and the said quinten tarrintino directed it or some bs.
WELL HE DIDNT!!!
Hero was made a while ago as i have it on vcd and tarrintino had no part of this brilliant movie, so why is he receiving credit on this movie??????
He's not taking credit for it. He's enabling a wider audience to view it in cinemas.
From what I heard, he enjoyed the movie so much that he wanted to fund its release into 'Western' cinemas. Had he not, I would never have had the opportunity to see it.
As others have said, he's not taking credit for it. He simply supplied the funds for the movie to be shown here. It's a great movie, and if it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have even known about it.
Plus I happen to be a fan of his anyway. I've liked every one of his movies.
In particular, Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn, Pulp Fiction, and Kill Bill. All brilliant movies.
Bloody hell! Tarrantino is a God! Pulp Fiction is a masterpiece... Kill Bill was frigging excellent, but I'm into Anime so I think that adds to it. Good on him for bringing our mildly amusing and boring screens some decent entertainment.
Tell me, what Asian movies do you personally enjoy, that are similar to Kill Bill.
