I know I have put a similar post about Solicitors before but after today I'm wondering if there is such a thing as a Solicitor who knows how to return a phone call or take on a case that they may have to do a little work ........

I realise my case is goin to be a tricky one (custody with DOCS wanting to be supbeonaed so Ex doesnt even get visiting rights) but hey ......Im a citizen & even though I have to use Legal aide I would expect I would get same treatment as a normal paying client after all they still get money from the government so it's not like I'm after a freeby........

My question .......is there such a person with a profession as a Solicitor who doesnt mind a bit of work & getting payed by the government & who lives within a reasonable distance of MBFNW ??????????

You have to take into account that the soliciter(s) wouldn't be working for the Govt if they were any good, they would have their own practice or be with a private law firm. It's not like there's any pressure on them to perform, if they loose the case they still get paid the same amount of money as if they win. You pay peanuts you get monkeys. Hope you get your problems sorted.

Falchoon ......these Solicitors out here are private practice ones who get paid thru legal aide .........So I believe I should be treated no differently ...........

good luck. i agree, you should be entitled to decent legal representation. that is a basic right of all citizens. not sure what you are able to do about it though....maybe make some noise

It will possibly all happen:: Maybe alittle anxiety on your behalf??.When you think about it, he has to go through the court system too !! apita imo...

I can tell you now, if there was money/house involved the bastards would be on the phone (meter ticking of course) at the drop of a hat.
I never believed what people said about them until I had to use their so called services.

I'm sure it isnt anxiety .........I've been trying to get a Solicitor since last year :(

I know he has to go through court too but I need the better solicitor & he has no idea what I'm doing .......he has no contact with us at all (thank god)

Ohhhhhh well back to all the phone calls trying to find yet another one to scare with my story ..............
