The lighting softens some of the angles, but yep looks pretty good. Jury is still out on the instrument cluster however.

does look good the back in that picture, but the interior is bad! and with talk about not being able to put a aftermarket stereo in the BA it looks like you cant in the comodore as well??

Interior is shocking with that cheap looking blue plastic centre bit.
Don't like the gauges compared to the classy Barra style.
The back lights do look sexy though but the back end makes the car look like an astra and that's not good. Front looks like my dinner after I through it back up.
I still hate those stupid engine shields and I don't like that Ford have one either.
Over all I'm not impressed still and considering it's still got the ancient motor and ABSOULTULY SHOCKING gearbox (my mums XF changes better than those things)
The VE commie may compare to the BA but the VY is out of the BA's league IMHO (BTW I used to work for Solitare Auto in my tender years so i've drivin a lot of expensive cars and if the Ba drives as well as they say then BWM/MERC/AUDI better watch out!!)

Its hard to say because the lighting is pretty bad. The rear lights look similar when lit to the Hyundai Lantra. Definitely looks better in white. The guages still do nothing for me and I still reckon the VX/VT interior was better integrated.

Cant wait to see one at the motor show as I think only the fairest opinions can be made after you have seen it in real life.

The battle looks like its going to be a tough one.

I agree about the interior.... the plastic actually looks to be of LOWER quality than the garbage we have now (if that's possible). :oo1:
As for the stereo, apparently while the VY stereo is slightly larger than a double-din unit, surrounds for standard single/double dins units are almost ready for market to allow them to be easily fitted. Additionally, unlike the BA, the VY climate control in the upper models uses another led screen rather than the single integrated LED screen design of the BA.
