I was walking thru parramatta today and as I came up to a premier parking area I noticed stacks of smoke.

It seems from what people were saying that someone left a stolen car and torched it. The pic's not the best but its a VN commodore(haha). The worst bit was that some poor person's station wagon next to it ( I think it was a commie wagon) got caught in the blaze and now has a massive scorch mark down the side of it. They'll be impressed

The cops apparently were on the scene in record time.

Who the hell torches cars in a public place ? Don't people think ???

That was purely the speculation of onlookers who were hanging around in the vicinity of the cops. It may very well have just naturally combusted haha or in the case of my first car, an xd falcon, exploded due to a fuel line prob(before I even drove it dammit). What actually happened for sure, can't say.

You wouldn't imagine someone would deliberately torch a car there. I was 4WDing out Londenberry way on the weekend & there was stacks of dumped burnt out cars there & Commodores were easily the most common the strangest was a VT/X or Y wagon that had had the front chopped off at the B pillars & was nowhere to be seen.

i saw once a late model magna that was becide me at lights sudenly start smoking from the engine bay i told the driver wich he already seen the smoke.lights turn green and when i went past i looked back he popped the bonnet and flames jumped out six feet high and the car was engulfed.dosnt take bloody long for it to get out of hand
