Normally I wouldn't do this but im very desperate!!

Ive been attempting the mpfi conversion over the past 3 days and every little thing that could go wrong did..
I broke my 5/8 socket adapter
all the coolant conviently leaked everywhere.. all 6 litres of it
Ive taken the manifold off and on 3 times!!! ive mucked around with plugs and leads and everything and it just hasnt worked.. my back is screwed
and on the third attempt i put the manifold back in and it sparked really bad! now when i start it it just clicks!
so im up S*** creek without a paddle..

If you know someone in SA that could lend their time or if you can please!! I would gladly pay them with excessive amounts of beer!! I need the car for work and tafe as im a student :( :(

hmm guess no one can help
I found out the reason why it only clicked.. i didnt tighten the terminal at the battery tight enough..
I have found that i have no spark at the plugs but power at the coil??
I didnt touch the distributor.. what could be wrong?

you will have better luck in the E-series general discussion mate, i would give you the link but it seems you already posted there too. many guys there have done mpfi conversions so if there is any answer for you, you will find it there

make sure the TPS is connected (the big plug for the dizzy)
or you will get the problem you have now.
Also check that the wires arn't cracked or something.
The only thing I can suggest is to check everything is plugged in ok.


If I had heaps of free time I'd come lend a hand but I've got a lot of stuff to do in the next couple of days and don't finish work till pretty late.
