Whilst watching a documentary on the History of Video Games (tm) at the House of Casper (tm), Casper (tm), Fill-Bee (tm) and myself (tm) were Mesmerized (tm) watching all of the ACE (tm) Video games we used to play growing up in the 1980's, Space Invaders (tm) in particular.
Casper has found this link to an On-Line version of the original Game.

hehehe, was an sad day, heres the three of us looking at some of the first games released (remember pong?) not only remembering them, but in some cases actually owning them!!!
So sad I'm currently thinking of buying an old Atari system and having an Atari party.
Oh and for all those under 25, an Atari is a game console, one of the first and best!

Yes I know about the ataris. Wasn't that tank game fun, where you had two tanks on the one screen and you had to bow up the other player before he did you?
Just for a laugh the other week, I downloaded lander, the original and despite the warnings not to run it on new computers I stupidly did. So after i clicked to EXE, it somehow forced my computer in 320*240. 2 freaking bit colour mode was enabled. Now this game was designed to run on nothing more powerful than say 3 MHz. Mine is 2003Mhz. There were problems. I had fraps running, and I was getting just over 4000 frames per second. and game play was sped up about 800 times. there was no way I could exit the game either, cause none of the keys went in quick enough and out quick enough to operate the menu properly. And I could only get to the menu when I wasn't crashed, which was for about 1/400 of a second.
It lost me all the work I was doing in the background too. Ancient gaming, sometimes isn't good

My old man used to make videogame machines back in the 80's n he has a whole bunch of stuff still left over. He gave me the original space invaders logic board he bought back when he first started to make the machines. Ive started to rebuild the machine but after exams hopefully ill finish it and ill put it with pacman machine my old man kept.
My favorite game still today is Need for Speed II SE.
Gotta love the graphics!
