Speed camera system confused by personalised plates?
Let's say a bloke gets a Porsche 911 and gets plates to match - 911 HIS - but instals them upside down and, another mistake, puts them in a frame which unfortunately obscures the state's name at the bottom (now top) of the plate.
Do you realise that this will look like SIH 116 on speed camera photos and that there will be nothing to show it is upside down?
Will this be fun for the speed camera people when the irate owner of the real SIH 611, a Toyota or whatever, comes in?
How will they trace the ghost SIH 611?
Do you know how many letters and numbers look the same upside down as right way up, and how many possible combinations there are?
This is why it is very important to make sure you always have your plates the right way up.
