driving down the main street of benalla today and there was a hyundai terracan parked on the opposite side of the road facing towards me, with all the gear on the grille and a camera inside the car. I saw it at the last minute and looked at my speedo....65kmph in a 60 zone. DOH!!, anyway just wondering if you are coming towards it does it take both lanes of traffic on a four lane road north bound and south bound?

It doesnt do both flows of traffic, it cant catch ya coming towards it, i was doin 90 in a 70 zone one day and a fixed camera on a car was on the other side of the road and nothing happened (over 5 months ago)
the fixed infra red camera on the grill of a car cant catch someone coming towards them, thats why they dont face them at you. it would be a pretty damn power camera to get all 4 lanes of traffic, i doubt it can.
Ahh see we have something slightly diff, have a camera mounted on the dash of the car and only the flash is on the bumper, and this type definately does all 4 lanes, as mates ex g/f got busted by one
Your lucky that you dont reside in Victoria,as the speed tolererance is only 3-4 Klm.
