Ok guys, speed camera on the opposite side of the road on a duel carriageway, with an island in the centre.

Is it possible to be stung when travelling in the opposite direction in this situation?

im holdin out for another 3 weeks as i think i may have been caught out in daylight, didnt see coppers standing behind tree with radar just after the lights, soooo glad i stopped at the lights otherwise i woulda been clocked at 80 in a 60 zone LOL, when i noticed them i checked the speedo and was doin just over 60 so im not sure, i bloody hope i didnt get caught, and it didnt flash cause it was in daylight so i wouldnt know
hehe oh well soon find out in a few weeks

Only got the 1 fine, the second one didnt get sent, thats why I know that if theres a center divider there isnt a fine.
Oh, and its getting taken to court, they will have to work for the $125 and the 1 point.

So Casper i take it that the one in which you flicked the bird to was travelling towards the camera? Did you see the flash go off. To be honest i was doing approx 5-10 over the limit which on that duel road was 70kph and when the flash went off it seemed that i had past the camera. It was a police l'cruiser parked in amongst some bushes out of sight. Did put a dampener on the day as i had just picked the car up from the exhaust shop and thought i'd take it out for a cruise, atleast i'm happy with the note.

yeah, the flash went off. I'd say he triggered it manually as I was hitting him big flashes from my XR highbeams at the time

I think he was a bit pissed off with me, as you can imagine.
