i am interested in knowing what type of "camera" is used in speed cameras to take the photo of your car and number plate.
I assume that they are digital but am not sure.
radar detector. might get one, but what i was thinking of doing was putting Infared LED's around the number plate facing in. If the camera is a digital one then they would over expose the numberplate and they couldnt see who i am :D.

5 years ago they were still film, not digital (use to know an operator), they don't look any different now days so I think there is a good chance they are still film, but could be wrong.

What a silly thing they are doing in perth today (i think its silly anyway)
making people who drive on the freeway drive at 80km for some environmental thing and the cops are going to make sure you stick to the limit
also the trains are going to be shut down apprently so more people will drive there cars so em yeah work that out

Reflective licence plate covers are illegal, but work well. Cost $30-50.
Or do what i saw some guys doning in Trigg the other nite:
They cut a slit in their numberplate, and fold part of it over. They recon when they get pulled up they just act dumb, and get off.
They only do it when there gonna go for a fast drive.
