Castlemaine Rod Shop's proprietor, Rod Hadfield, pedaled the big blown-bronze Commodore to 248 mph while Mark Hadfield pushed his '67 Mustang to 181 mph.
Mark Hardinge screwed 185 mph from his '34 Ford roadster while Mike Davidson ran 153 mph in his naturally aspirated, flathead-powered T-bucket. Bike racer Peter Arundel rode his '28 Indian down the long black line at 158 mph.
