Just something I'd like to say.
A few days ago in the paper they had a graph of the road toll decreasing as the years went on and more and more "safety" things such as breatho's and speed traps etc were introduced.
In the entire article they failed to take in to consideration the introduction of safety features in cars such as air bags, abs, better tyres, crumple zones.
With the Falcons being the safest car i find this to be an insult!
It's most likly something that has been posted before but it really annoys me to think that the millions and millions of dollars spent by our Aussie manufacturer has been wasted as the only reason our road toll has gone down is cause of wankers making it harder to pay the bills and eat because you go 6kms over the limit!!!!!
Nothing against cops personally but I'm sick of being treated as a cash cow cause I have a car and like to drive it!

i heard on the radio the other day that introducing air bags has reduced head injuries in crashes by something like 70-75%

You have to work the system my friend. Like this last Sunday at Sutherland. The entire Highway Patrol are on traffic duty looking after a fun run thingy. After the event I drive past Sutho cop shop and see a good ten HP cars parked out front. Me thinks odds are VERY low of getting caught.

I cannot begin to explain how much fun I had:

Nah, the airbag didn't come. If she had, I wouldn't have been able to drive that fast! :s3

Yes, but the best air bags only come out when you crash, unlike some models which are just there, inflated, all the time....
