Speeding Fine

Well I came home from work last night to be greeted with a speeding fine. Yes, doing 71 in a 60 zone, where and when you ask? Station Street, Box Hill between Severn Street and Clyde Street. 12:58pm 5/5/02... On the way to the EA meet at Bundoora park.

So, EA90 and SPHELL did you guys get nicked as well? I hadn't driven down there before so I didn't know what the hell the speed limit was. There goes $125, oh well it could be worse, i've done much more foolish stuff on the roads...

This is my first fine of any sort relating to driving, so I have to ask, how are everyone else's driving records?

Ash

As yet I have not ever been pulled over, had a fine in the mail, or been checked for anything, basically cops have not seen my car at all. Damn idiots probably have some sort of legislation against cowprint rocker covers, because it might attract cows out onto the road and cause an accident or some shit...

Anyways, I've always tried to be careful so as not to give them more money, and so far it's all been good. The only thing I that has happened to me is I have voluntarily gone through a breath testing station because I was bored once and two nights in a row I had to drive through a breath testing station because I had no choice. But that's all...

speeding fine

I learnt my lesson the hard way

I was speeding 139km/ph in a 60 zone (yep 40km's over the limit by the book, really 79 km/ph over the limit)

My licence was automatically suspended for 3 months but then after that, I was granted a new provisional licence with 4 new points! yay... during this time, this never stopped me driving for the 3 months.

Lucky me I guess.
