Our family is in shock today at the news that my father has ordered a Crummydore Calsifier.
Historically he has occasionally only shown signs of minor delusion with Mitsu or European purchases.
My son is distraught (must be his unbiased upbringing ) & will probably not see his Grandfather after delivery (6-8 weeks), until the car is sold (or totaled as with his last 4 month old Verada).
We were supposed to go car hunting together this weekend, so that I could avoid this humiliation but he's semi-retired now, so with his sparetime went out on his own
I have tried in vain to point out the error of his ways & while having made some ground, its a done deal
I need & advice on how to get my family & I through this trauma.
Heading out to buy 'No Holden Parking' sign for driveway!!

Cancel the order and order a FORD when it comes time to pick it up and he questions the change.
Tell him his alzheimers is getting worse he did order the FORD.

Cancel the commodore order, take him to Ford.

Im under the impression that Holden actually "sold" him the Calais - sounds like he doesn't really have a preference either way -

Just get some Ford Forums windscreen/bumperstickers and have them superglued to the commy if that makes you feel any better for the time being.

In all honesty, if he doesn't have any brand loyalty, do you really want him in a Ford anyway. I mean, he may end up saying "I should have bought the Holden". Now, he's guaranteed to be saying "I should have bought the Ford".
