I'm surprised Ford hasn't done a hot wagon with the BA range ... I guess it's almost too niche for most manufacturers (Holden incl)
This is what Geoff Polites had to say about it in 2001 - "Our problem is that engineering a performance wagon takes resources and money, for what is effectively a very small volume. When you see what we have done at Barra you will understand why we needed to rationalise some of the potential options."
don't forget ford did the XR wagon thing a while ago and it didn''t sell so hot. Maybe holden can make it work but ford have been there and I think the territory will be the future of anything performance orientation.
I see quite a lot of VX SS Wagons around Auckland, people must just option up their Berlina's & stick the badges on them. They look bloody great though.
