Before the XR I had a VT wagon set up like an SS, for me the perfect business/family car..........
I love my sedan but I do miss the carrying capacity/space of the wagon. I will definately look at the SS when its time to change, bloody hell thankfully the Gen3 will be updated by then he he....
an XR wagon would have been preferable..........

ford will never do this cos they dont have the money for niche markets even though holden sell heaps of v8's in all different forms. Ford got rid of fairmont wagon but still wagon sales are same

Yeah, Goauto reckons they have the 17's too. They had to cut money somewhere I guess, they just make them the same design so it's harder for people to tell the difference. Would be great to see an XR wagon, even if it's not an 8, just to have the image there

According to the gurus over on the LS1 forums, the 17's are standard due to Holden not being able to find an 18" rim with appropriate load rating for the wagon. Sounds fair enough.
