Boy Falchoon you'll get yourself in serious trouble there:)just read your reply, not bad at all.

I just wish to tell the guy that towing needs a car with a flatter curve of torque down low, the XR would be a usable force.
I've seen quite many XR8s towing racing cars at Oran Park and Eastern Crk, what can happen to them anyway?!!!!

And the other thread the gen III rebuilds, the last guy has some brains. He said NEVER AGAIN.He had enough.
6500 views till now, I expect they will lock the thread soon as it's getting seriously threatening!Oh well.

Thumbs up

Another smart buyer for ford, falchoon you made it man!

That's what I was trying to say to Ford: People this FF is a potent weapon to give the buyers what they're looking for. For Heavens sake make it a bit popular by ads!!!

Here's what rotary said:

Thanks falchoon. I have seen a lot of other guys at Oran and wakefield towing their cars with XR8s, but was unaware of Fords stance on warranty and manuals. I went down and had a look at both cars yesterday, and like the fact the XR has a better torque curve, for towing.

Iím just a bit concerned that if I got an SS, how long would my engine last?

In saying that, I guess Iíve made up my mind.
