any one got a st george bank account that use's internet bandking ,i was just wondering if the third party accounts that you can setup can you set them up so you can transfer $$$$ into other peoples account eg.fordforums account to make a donation

sure can. Just go into setup in the transfer tab with the other persons ACC number and BSB number

Then you have to log off, then log on to see the new 3rd party accounts.

Yup that sounds about right. I used to have a St George account.

Now Suncorp. Word of warning Suncorp have weird ways of doing everything! You can't do external transfers even when I-banking is sett up. You have to apply for a totally different password etc. It's a pain in the arse.

so i can transer funds into say commonwealth bank accounts and it doesn't cost anything is that right.

Depend on your account type. Some have fees other don't. If you have a mortgage with them? You won't have any fees.

i have a student savings account and a direct savings account.would i get charged a fee for transfering monet from those accounts
