Hey yall. I'm waiting to get my Telstar back so I can sell it and get a Falcon again. (Life hasn't been the same since)
I've been looking around and have thought about something differant namely a station wagon.
I'm more of a drivers car type of guy so I don't think I'll go this way but I was just wondering if there were any other wagon owners and what they thought about them.
I know that there leaf sprung so what are they like to drive??
Oh I'm talking about the Ea- ED style ones.
Cheers all!
It all comes down to your opinion and what you think of wagons. I use to hate all wagons, but recently i've started to take a liking to them. I still prefer the sedan however....
As for the leaf sprung rear end, from what i've heard you can't even tell that is leafs, its a really nice ride, much like the coils.
Take one for a lap around a block and see what you think...
I got the wagon for "something different" and I have absolutely no complaints. Ive got the V8 for grunt, Ghia for luxury and the wagon for space. Just today I picked up a clothes dryer, fitted in nice even with 2 boxed 12"subs.... and i'm still left with the back seat. You can seriously not pick the lower quality ride performance... I mean how often would you speed round chicanes and racetracks in normal daily driving. I wont be parting with it... I dont think I could be happy with a sedan again.... atleast for a while or until my needs change.
Wagons are really tops, they're the best. Thats why, if you look at how many wagons they make & sell in Australia compared to 4 door sedans, --- um, thats why.... thats why... oh forget it!

I have owned several wagons & the thing that has always annoyed me is having everything in the boot on display to all & also you have to listen to everything fling from one side of the boot to the other as you drive
