Dunno champ. I doubt if he will get another chance again at ford australia but maybe at a permanant at ford US. And yes I think he did the XR front too.

Steve really knows how to polarise opinions, remember the EL GT nose, I actually didn't mind it too much but there were critics.

To put it simply, I think it was bad market research (if there was any). He had a fairly good design concept, but it was wrapped around the wrong car.

The Stylist

I don't really know the full story there, Steve Park led the design team but I don't know who actually came up with the initial concept sketch's of the AU, though Steve most probably gave inspiration (as most heads of design do) and the finishing touches to the car.

I don't know how long Simon Butterworth will be at the top (probably quite a while), but my guess is that Steve Park is still wanted in the US for the near future.

Remember that in the end it was Jac the Knife who signed off on the AU.
I can remember when the AU came out that they showed some other possibilities in Motor or Wheels, man some of those looked awesome.
