Well I might have a warped sense of imagination but I would suspect its a factory sunroof from another car as opposed to an after market one.
Regardless i hope it turns up safe and sound for the owner cause i can well imagine he is heartbroken.

I'd be highly suspicious of those who fitted the sunroof and electric windows, or of anyone that knew about it - loose lips sink ships.
