Can people please stop VY bashing. It may be ugly to you, but to others, it may half-ish decent. I'm reading all the threads this afternoon, and every second post (literally) is full of 'the VY's ugly' and 'God, HSV's gunna have a hard time' and so on....
Can we just stop it please?

Last time I checked, this was a FORD forum. There's bound to be a bit of Holden bashing. And I cant understand why if somebody doesnt like the VY, why they can't say so. Just because one or maybe two like the design, doesnt mean everybody else has to button their lips.

We are all entitled to an opinion and if the majority of people are saying that the VY is ugly, doesnt that send a clear message out that there is something wrong with the design?

I am happy to listen, respond to and argue people's opinions. That's why we are here.

OK, ok. Point taken that this is a Ford forum, so, why don't we have a dedicated holden bashing thread. That way people can let off some steam, and not interupt the other threads... Just an idea.

I pretty much agree that this is a ford forum and the intention of the forum is to promote discussion on the ford product, however some posts and it happens on the ls1 forums lead a lot to be desired in relation to the BA v VY etc.

You can pretty much judge some of these thread by who is posting on the thread and who is not posting.

Ford have a good product being released, they have had a strong dose of testosterone replacement which is evidenced by a recent quote in Street Machine "..they will never kick sand in our face again.."

Dont diminish the release by playground posts

We can play tit for tat as much as anyone, I know I have two kids..

I have a stupid question. Why is anything-about VY being discussed in the Barra forum anyway?

I would have thought the title would exclude anything other than barra related subjects but obviously my two heads is interfering with seeing some profound logic here somewhere!

Because VY is BA's competitor, it is only natural to compare and talk about what we hear on both makes!

Good post Strife.

The cars aren't even on the road yet so some people will look foolish if VY still outsells Falcon 2-1 every month. We won't know the success of either model untill sometime mid-next year.
