Checked the rego with FMC. Its a 1999 built Forte. Gives no clues otherwise.

Sounds interesting. I don't think the drive had much to do with the dash and switchgear though as they have adequate testing facilities at You Yangs for that.

It would probably have to be something mechanical. Perhaps they should have gotten the windows tinted before going for a drive?

More than likey a test bed for the new AV gear. Sounds bloody interesting though. I just have one question. What the christ was it doing around Port Melbourne? That's Holden country... :eek:

Does sound interesting. From my very limited knowledge that testing gear would have been for the hardware under the bonnet and body skin:eek:

It was most likely a test mule for the AV, but what got me most interested is that the person who saw it said that the dash was nice and rounded which is a bit odd considering the AV is probably getting an Audi look.

But then again who knows what it is for. :eek:
