I've had enough of this crap. First they cap download to 3 gig, now they expect us to pay an extra $20 (now upto $88) a month for that plan. Who else is absolutely pissed off, coz I am. I'm cancelling this crap and gonna get optus cable, thats if I can get it in my area.
Do optus have underground cable?? coz thats whats out here where I am..
You're lucky you have a cable option. We don't in WA although I am in one of the few WA suburbs with true cable TV and although I got connected to Foxtel partly in response to the Telstra - Foxtel salesmans promise of coming cable modem facilities. I gave up on Telstra after three months of trying to get a promissed discount for having all my phone and net servives with them. They kept denying that I had asked although I had a numbered receipt email of my request from them. And for some reason since I went to Dingoblue my phone/net cost have fallen dramatically. One reason is Dingoblue don't cut me off the net like Telstra was always doing.
ive found that even though my optus cable isnt as fast as they say it is it's still a lot faster than my friend's telstra cable. so if you can definatly go for optus.

i cant get cable, adsl or isdn...even my dial up line is so pathetic my average download speed is less than 1kps sometimes about .1 ... telsra have been attempting to fix it for going on to 2 years...
i think ill just move! (plus telsra 2 way sat is a joke ... 300 meg cap and outrageous prices)
OK, what choices do I have. I can't get OPTUS coz they don't go underground, I'm really pissed at TELSTRA coz they're ripping me to shreds!!!! I don't think I can go back to dialup, so I have to stay with Bigpond, maybe I'll go on a different plan!
