Sorry but that is amusing.
1. If they were running VB
then someones password was either too simple or they shared it with someone else. vB
pwds are not easy to crack, not saying impossible, but with the way they do it....it is not simple. PWDs should be difficult and never used for more than one location...ie server root pwd different than vb
admin pwd different than PP pwd.
2. Backups. They are useful for something. You may lose a day of posts, but it will be returned to a working state and not making an admin have to guess who managed what forum.
3. The admin should have only had ONE person with root access to his server and 1 person with access to the VB
backend itself with a difficult password. See #1
4. It is a learning experience.
