He brought it upon himself! I can't get over the fact that he exposed the number plates of the vehicle. I'm surprised he even knows how to work a computer to get online. Dumb Arse!!
ford.boy .. who do you want to get a Cobra? Don't you mean you hope the woman gets the money back for the cobra she purchased?
There's 2 threads on the first board, and then the loonnnggg post started from the mechanic...
Best suggestion for compensation I've seen is a new car with a nontransferrable lifetime warranty that can not be voided by the dealer.. Altho its in the hands of the lawers so she should end up with some compo out of them...
And does it happen here: yes, maybe not as bad, but I have seen brand new SS's straight off the truck getting a workout around the back streets. needless to say I don't deal with that delaer, either for purchase or service.
I really can not believe somebody would do something that stupid and then tell a forum about it, what a moron, if i even owned half that car is woudl be totally ****** annoyed!!!!!
I reckon 140mph isnt really overboard though, thats about 220, and it its underperforming, so what!
Someone posted in from Germany, its normal for BMWs and Mercs to be tested up to 250 off km/h.
By the way, id be annoyed more if someone was perhaps doing burnouts, like i saw in fact in a Merc workshop in port Melbourne. A brand new C class supercharged, had a carwash, then came sideways out of the driveway, smoking up the tyres for about 100m! Flat cold, with steam pouring out the exhaust! thats annoying!!
