Question Stupid NiMh Batteries

I bought some of these about 3 months ago, for my digital camera.

I charged them all up and left 4 of them in my camera bag and the other 2 in my camera

The ones in the camera are now dead as they have been used obviously, but the other 4 that were in my bag have gone flat and the battery warning sign comes up on my camera.

My question through all this ramble, is do they have some sort of charge life where the cahrge will dissapte out of the battery after a certain time. ?

Will really piss me off having these batteries in there and not having them charged and handy for when i need to use them

Cheers

Chris

Re: Stupid NiMh Batteries

Quick answer.... YES

NiMH bleed at about 2% per day, Li-Ion are much worse.
I keep a couple of Duracells in the bag for emergencies. They have lasted 6 months so far and I have used then about 4 times.
