Anyone know if there was a Ricer meet at Frankston beach today?

I only ask as I went for a cruise with my brother in his mustang and we ended up in the F/ston beach car park where there were like 20 of them watching us slowly cruise on by them. Didn't know it was going to happen but my brother ended up leaving a black line about 25 meters long just for them and every single head looking in our direction

Subaru's are not rice!

If I wern't a Ford man I'd be a Subaru man, which I am in a way. AWD with intercooled turbo's and the meanest symetrical four-wheel-drive system in the world is not rice!

Possum is half the reason I'm into my Subaru's so much. But the fact remains that Subaru's are performance rockets. When I say this I mean the Impreza's and Legacys. They're AWD, (Twin in some)Turbo and cheap. And the '04 Legacy's look bloody awesome IMO. I classify rice as stickers, bodykits, ANY car that is not RWD or AWD, spoilers so big you can hang your washing off, blow-off valves in a a non-turbo car, neons etc. The factory STi's are pure performance beasts, and as much as we hate to admit it, will slaughter any factory Falcon either on the track or in a straight line. The amount of development in the WRX STi in both the driveline and engine is absolutley crazy, and journo's all over the world say that the AWD system in these cars are the BEST in the worl and are un-rivaled by any other car manufacturer. Let me put it this way, it's got four doors, so it's a sedan, it's got AWD with RWD drive bias, it's Turbocharged and Intercooled.. rice?

For some reason I get real worked up when people call Subaru's rice, to me rice is a Civic with an exhaust tip 3 times bigger that the sum of all four of it's exhaust extractor diameters, and how a Subaru can be called rice is beyond me, anyways that the end of my rant for today.

Let me make it clear that I am as Blue-blooded as they come and will always be a Ford man, but I happen to respect Subaru's products.

I have a mate who owns both a WRX (last before the bug eyed one came out) and also a Tommi Makinnen Evo 6. Both are awesome machines, and great fun to be a passenger in going around a track!
