Sunday drives from Sydney

What's your favorite Sunday Drive in or around Sydney area?

I always enjoy Bells line of road over the mountains. Stop at Mt Wilson for a cuppa. Lithgow for a beer (Lite of course) Home via Great western hwy. Always gives the IRS on the Falcon a bit of a workout. Love it!

Hey,

Personal favourite is the old Pacific Highway. Its pretty popular with those with 2 wheels, as well as those with four. There are some great drifting corners in there, even though thats illegal and something you should never do on public roads, eh AP!

From Newie, the other favourite is over Mt Sugarloaf, and along some of the really old roads like the Putty Road - the one that goes from Cessnock to Sydney or there abouts and chockas with winding mountain passes.

L8a,
Prud.

Up Old Bathurst Rd and down Mitchells Pass in repeated runs is a fun way to spend a free day.

Putty Rd from Windsor to Singleton is also VERY fun, haven't done that in a while.

Yeah, Royal National Park to the Gong is a great run. Pushbikes on blind corners can be a bit scary and frustrating. You need do it early.
