Sydney accommodation - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

im heading up to sydney for the final round of the V8s in early December. Just wondering if anyone knows of or can recommend any accommodation. Close to Eastern Creek would be favourable, but anywhere within half an hours drive is ok.

Yep there is a travelodge really close to eastern creek there..On Resevoir Rd Blacktown

Panthers at Penrith has an attached motel. about 20 mins drive, good location
SOme of the ford teams stay at Mecure Parramatta, but its not that good a location.

try a search of www.lastminute.com.au or wotif.com.au also yes there is the Blacktown Travelodge which is not too far away but prolly pretty full by now some teams stay there as well u can get a room 4 about $99 p/night,if u want basic try Formula1 at Wentworthville a bit further away but cheap $69 p/night. If no good pm me and I'll check out NRMA accom book 4 u but i noticed they dont have a lot of the smaller places in it so good luck

i found a couple of places with good deals on wotif, but i have no idea where they are in relation to the track!

how far are liverpool and north ryde from eastern creek???

i think i better go get a map of sydney tomorrow

Dave ..... both places are within reason in relation to the track ...... both easy to find the track as well ......

Go the cheapest but DO NOT take my baby to Liverpool & park on the street ....... she will be lost ......North Ryde is a bit better as far as security is concerned, I lived there for a while a few yrs ago

Dave there are closer places than nth ryde, I checked out wotif & last minute and the following suburbs are closer,from closest Rooyt hill (5 mins west),Penrith (15 mins W), Parramatta,Rosehill (15 mins E) Liverpool (20 mins south) this may be your best bet cos u are comming from that direction if u r comming from Melbourne, West Ryde, North Ryde (35-45 mins+nth east). Search wotif, sydney, western suburbs. Parramatta has more of everything as far as motels are concerned including 5 stars if thats wot u r after. As far as security of your car is concerned, hell mate u r comming to sydney wot do u expect armed guards wouldn't help if they really wanted it. luk2u
