I want to try out Synergy 8000 in my car (pinging problem), I live on the north side of Brisbane but I haven't seen it at any Mobil servo's before.

Does anyone know where I can get some from?

I have never seen it in my travels to the south, north, west or east sides of brisbane as far as I know the only 98 fuels up here are optimax and ultimate and I would go for Ultimate and do, note i have tried both for extensive periods and the ultimate is a far more consistant fuel.

yes, i thought that might be the case...

I used Ultimate for months and then for the last few tanks I have used Optimax. So far the Optimax seems to be slightly better in tems of pinging (still need to sort that out though) and fuel consumption.

My average L/100klms was going up with Ultimate and has started to come down now that I am using Optimax, I haven't changed my driving style.

I will just have to find whats best for my car, out of the available fuels.

Yeah some ppls car seems to like ultimate others optimax, before I upped the timing my car used to really love vortex so go figure.
