T3 Brembo option pricing

Got the lowdown today at FTE dealer.. the Brembo option is a touch over $5,000!! :dead:

Mind you, as one of the directors at work said, "if it was an option on a German car, it would be $15,000" :s5

Those brakes are bloody awesome though. They are 6 or 4 Piston Calipers? Still bloody expensive though. They would have to be Standard on the GT though.

Damn that is alot of cash...but a great and worth while option to have thats for sure.

that's a LOT of money! i guess it's worth it because with a car like that, you need good brakes!

HSV will soon have 6 spot AP Racing calipers as an option - dunno the price, but I reckon it'll make $5k look cheap :(

hobbes do you know what car for? I been readin your ls1 site and some of the guys reckon there will be the stoked ls6 donk in a lighter bodied gts-r. one would think 6 pot brakes would be standard as they said in the thread it would be around 140k.

AFAIK the AP's will be available for any car with the Premium rotors. I assume they'll be standard on the range topper, whatever that turns out to be ...

I didnt think 5k was too bad, isnt the premium brake updgrade about $3000???

Im sure the Brembo option will be awesome and money well spent:s6:
