Yesterday I viewed a new TE50 in the flesh and I can say that Ford/Tickford have done a great job.

The car was a black TE50 with blue leather for the interior, though someone mentioned that the T3 TE50 had chromed door handles to distinguish the interior from the XR8 but it instead it had the normal black ones? :oo1:
Anyway the car looks exactly the same as the TS50 except for different 18"wheels which are the same one's from the T2 TE50.

I also took several pic's of the car at Big Boys Toys. I spoke to the Ford Special Promotions manager, and he told me that they had to rush the car over from Aussie last weekend. It was just barely finished in time.

I got him to fire it up on the stand, and I have to say, I was surprised at how quiet it sounded. Maybe it was an audio illusion, as the hall was very noisy any way. However, you could certainly hear how much smoother it is than my AU1 XR8 Windsor. Sounded much tighter.

Pricing - $NZ77k + $NZ6500 for the Brembo's. !!!!!

Ford NZ see it competing directly with the Clubsport.

I'll post my pics once I get them developed (old-tech guy :s2: )
